bITMaster - patented security
bITMaster guarantees constant monitoring of voltage free, grounded* contact wire systems and power lines. Any theft is detected instantly and an alarm raised.
The overhead line is directly connected to the bITMaster. The device is installed in a rail-approved housing and can easily be attached to a pole (no purchase of land necessary).
bITMaster has an approved programmable logic control and responds to sudden changes of resistance. The device detects cutting of the catenary, theft of the overhead wire by severing the hanger or a jumper on the catenary instantly and signals it to the operator. The operation of the bITMaster is safe enough to exclude any wrong alarm due to temperature fluctuation almost completely.
The bITMaster can be supplied with power either by a 50Hz mains system or by solar modules, where no grid supply is available.
A battery ensures uninterrupted power supply if the primary power source fails.
In case of an disturbance the alarm can be transmitted by a GSM-module to a mobile phone, by TETRA net, BOS net or via cable to the operator, train dispatcher or the police. www.i-vis.com In this way the bITMaster ensures quick response to theft and raises the level of safe train operation significantly.
